Session descriptions and more information:

Symposia

Symposia are planned sessions with curated content and speakers on special topics that support the conference theme and that integrate across disciplines and across the landscape. Symposia could include oral presentations, panel discussions, and/or open discussion. All symposia should further information sharing and collaboration on current critical wetland issues.

Roundtable Conversations

Roundtables are informal discussion-focused sessions where people with a shared interest can come together to explore that topic. While roundtable leaders should provide a framework for the discussion, roundtables should feature only limited presentation content and active engagement by attendees should be the focus.

More details, including review criteria, here.

Working Groups

Working groups are your chance to dive into focused topics, discuss issues and concerns with a group of colleagues facing similar challenges, or develop action plans on particular topics. Working Group facilitators are expected to provide a framework for the session, which may also include some formal presentations in addition to open dialogue.

Workshops

Workshops provide a chance for attendees to learn and apply new skills and methodologies. Workshop instructors are expected to provide organized content and encourage student engagement and interaction.
